Mark is a young sculptor from Latvia, at the moment studying Masters at Art Academy of Latvia. His works are outstanding contemporary sculptures based on well known graphic characters and full of humor. As the artist says: ‘’I am constantly in search of new techniques and methods of classical sculpture, but as I was raised in the era of Nickelodeon, PlayStation, and McDonald's toys, these characters organically shaped my works and I am not trying to push that away, conversely, I cultivate it. Mainly I don’t build my works based on a specific message while searching for new inspirations I trust my intuition and skills to create.’’

Mark Roz adores modern world in all of its limitless diversity, he's inspired by all of his daily surroundings and captures it all in his sculptures, sometimes by just making fun of it, sometimes for purpose of praising.
